Shannon Gymnastics Club
Shannon Gymnastics Club teaches both competitive and recreational gymnastics. We specialise in Tumbling, which is a discipline within gymnastics whereby the gymnast performs rows of linked flics and somersaults along a 25m long sprung track. The club caters for boys and girls from 4 years of age upwards. We are based in a permanent facility just outside of Shannon town, Co.Clare. The club has gymnasts performing from beginner level right through to international elite level. Shannon Gymnastics Club is a non-profit making organisation.

Facilities- Our Gym
The club has a wide range of equipment allowing children to safely progress and learn new gymnastics skills, helping to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, and improve co-ordination aswell as improving all round agility in the gymnast. The club has floor matting, safety matting, springboards, a vaulting horse, a 15m long inflatable air-track, a 17m long linear trampoline (fast-track) with foam module landing area, and a full length (25m) carbon-rod competition tumble track with landing area and half a run up.
Directions to Shannon Gymnastics Club
From Limerick:
Take the n18 out of Limerick heading in the direction of Shannon/Galway.
Follow along the n18 and pass the turn off for Shannon
Take the next exit on the left for "Newmarket-on-Fergus"
At roundabout go left and follow the road in the direction of carrigoran
About 2 miles down the road you will pass houses on your right and on your left and you will then see the road sweeps around a sharp bend to the left. At this bend the road also turns off to the right. Straight in front of you at this turn off you will see a gateway and a large grey warehouse through these gates.
Go straight through the gates and this grey warehouse is Shannon Gymnastics Club.
From Galway/Ennis Direction:
Follow the n18 in the direction of Limerick/Shannon
Take the exit for Newmarket-on-Fergus
At first roundabout go right and then go straight through the next roundabout in the direction of Carrigoran.
About 2 miles down the road you will pass houses on your right and on your left, and then the road sweeps around a sharp bend to the left. At this bend the road also turns off to the right. From Shannon:
From town centre, take Newmarket-on-Fergus exit off the roundabout at "Lidl"
Take newmarket on fergus exit off the next two roundabouts also, and head along this country road in the newmarket direction.
About 3 miles along this road you will pass large yellow warehouses on your right and the "Bellsfort Inn" on your right.
After this you will see a very small shop on your left and the road then sweeps sharply around to the left.
Follow the road around this bend and you will see the road then sweeps right and there is a turn off to the left straight in front of you.
Take the road in front of you and there is a big grey warehouse through metal gates to your left directly on this turn off.
Go through these gates on your left and the grey warehouse is Shannon Gymnastics Club.
